Our Long Beach Location and Guest Amenities
Cape Ann Motor Inn is located directly on Long Beach, a beautiful stretch of sandy beach, which begins begins in 
Gloucester and ends in Rockport. Long Beach is one of the cleanest in New England. It is flat with a gradual drop off, 
making it great for children and adults. Guests often enjoy a walk at night, with blue illuminating lights, the moon overhead and the light from the lighthouses of Thacher Island, just off shore. Click images below for larger views.

We are open all year, and Gloucester is a great off-season getaway, only about 45 minutes from greater Boston. The sound of the surf and the restful view of the ocean is a great way to re-charge and re-connect. You’ll also love that Cape Ann Motor Inn offers great off season rates.
Please note: All rooms are non smoking. Air conditioning is provided by the ocean breeze, as we are directly on the beach. Additionally, portable air conditioning units have been added to all rooms. All rooms have ceiling fans, and floor standing fans are available by request in our office.
Enjoy complimentary pastries and coffee in our lobby each morning. Coffee makers are now in all rooms. You can search our Nearby Attractions and restaurants here on our guest computer, or use our free Wi-Fi in your room. Enjoy sitting in front of
the lobby fireplace in cool weather, and on our beach side deck in warm weather. We have a large information and brochure area and helpful staff to assist you in planning activities.
Of course the main attraction is the beach itself. We now have a subsidiary of Cape Ann SUP located here at our location from Memorial Day to Labor day.
Cape Ann SUP offers daily stand up paddle board and surf board rentals. Guest will receive a 10% discount if you show your room key.
