Our Guest Rooms And Kitchenettes
All of our guest rooms overlook the beach and ocean! All have sliding glass doors, balconies with panoramic beach and ocean views, flat screen TV, portable air conditioning units, free Wi-Fi, telephone and private bath. Each can accommodate up to 4 guests comfortably with either 2 double beds, or one double bed and sofa which opens to a double bed.

Please note: All rooms are non smoking. We now have portable AC units in all rooms! Because of the ocean breeze, you probably won’t need them, but they are there. All rooms also have ceiling fans, and floor standing fans are available by request in our office.

Cape Ann Motor Inn is one of the only beach front or ocean front motels or hotels in Gloucester Massachusetts. We are conveniently located just 30 miles northeast of Boston. We are directly on Long Beach on the Rockport – Gloucester line.
All kitchenettes and guest rooms overlook the ocean, with a beautiful view of Thacher Island and its twin lighthouses, just off the coast of Rockport. The sunrises here are unforgettable. We are open all year, so you can enjoy a great Gloucester MA hotel beachfront vacation, or quiet off-season getaway here on Cape Ann. All rooms now include portable air conditioning units.
Cape Ann Motor Inn is located directly on Long Beach, a beautiful stretch of sandy beach, which begins begins in Gloucester and ends in Rockport. Long Beach is one of the cleanest in New England. It is flat with a gradual drop off, 
making it great for children and adults. Guests often enjoy a walk at night, with blue illuminating lights, the moon overhead and the light from the lighthouses of Thacher Island, just off shore.
We are open all year, and Gloucester is a great off-season getaway, only about 45 minutes from greater Boston. The sound of the surf and the restful view of the ocean is a great way to re-charge and re-connect. You’ll also love that Cape Ann Motor Inn offers great off season rates.
